Use of the Service

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • User Account: Upon installation, you will be asked to provide your name, language level, learning goal, and native language. This information is stored locally on your device.

Service Description

  • SpeakEasy is designed to help users learn English through lessons and conversations with an integrated AI. The application includes lessons based on your selected language level, conversation practice with AI, a section for words you did not understand, custom lessons, and a settings or profile page.
  • Users are given 3 minutes of free usage per day. For unlimited access, users can subscribe to the Service.

Subscription

  • Subscribing to SpeakEasy grants unlimited access to the learning features. Subscription details and pricing are available within the application.

User Conduct

  • You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use of the Service.

Intellectual Property

  • All content within the Service, including lessons, conversations, and custom lessons, are the intellectual property of SpeakEasy and its licensors.

Disclaimer of Warranties

  • The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

  • In no event shall SpeakEasy, its directors, employees, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Changes to These Terms

  • We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will provide notice of such changes within the application. Your continued use of the Service after the changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
